Service Description:
|
Meets the physical, psychological, social, cultural, emotional and spiritual needs of each client and family * services include:
- companionship, respite care, and emotional support to clients and their family/caregivers dealing with a life-threatening illness
- trained volunteers visit clients or families in their homes, or in hospitals and long-term care homes
- offers temporary relief to the caregiver
- bereavement follow-up support to caregivers
