Service Description: Physiotherapy
  • improves joint range of motion, posture, motor control, balance and functional abilities through a prescribed exercise program
  • offers information on how to prevent maintain or improve physical function
  • focuses on the causes of falls and how to prevent them
  • determines effective assistive devices to improve safety of individuals such as walkers, canes or crutches
  • provides training allowing maximum function and independence
  • assists individuals with government-funded programs such as Assistive devices program and prescribes mobility aids suitable for individuals needs
  • assists with pain relief


Occupational therapy
  • offers comprehensive treatment programs by assessing physical , cognitive, psycho-emotional and functional status of individuals
  • assesse individuals in their environment to advise on safety issues
  • prescribe and train on assistive aids allowing individuals to function well in their environments
  • educates on pacing, pain management and body mechanics
  • determines eligibility for government funding for home safety equipment and home adaptations
