Service Description: The Indigenous based co-ed program is located on Manitoulin Island. The program is conducted completely on the land, weaving traditional culture with therapeutic best practise and outdoor experiential learning to offer a full spectrum of care. Individuals applying to this program must be physically able to manoeuvre various outdoor terrain & be outdoors for extended periods of time. All equipment is supplied. This program is designed for Indigenous applicants but open to all Ontario residents as long as they are open to Indigenous programming.


Application: Self or third-party referrals are accepted with a completed application form. Participants are encouraged to be alcohol /substance-free for 5 days before admission. Following receipt of a completed application, the Admissions Team will reach out to you via email or phone within 15-20 business days to schedule the next steps, which include a medical and possibly a phone or Zoom interview. Three program cycles are offered per year.
