Service Description: Physiotherapy clinic * health professionals assess and treat conditions that affect the motor, nervous, skeletal and respiratory systems that may have a variety of causes: work, sports, motor vehicle collision injuries, chronic conditions and to recover after an operation (i.e. hip and knee joint replacement surgery) * services offered:
  • education
  • mobility and strength
  • range of motion (ROM)
  • balance exercises
  • conditioning
  • acupuncture/IMS
  • pain management rehabilitation
  • gait training
  • splinting
  • falls prevention
  • post burns mobilizations
  • post stroke rehabilitation
  • orthopedic rehabilitation
  • provides consultation and ongoing treatment
  • will help to fill out forms

    Assisted Devices Program (ADP) authorizer for mobility ( walkers only)



  • Wait list from 6 months to a year for non-urgent, non post-op referrals * post-op wait list of 1 -2 weeks after receipt of referral

    Fees: Hospital funded * WSIB
    Application: Medical referral required
