Regional Stroke Centre- comprised of stroke care stakeholders from across the continuum of care, under the guidance of the Regional Stroke Steering Committee, the network develops a strategic plan for implementing stroke best practice across the region * the network also functions as a key liaison with the Ontario Health atHome on stroke prevention and care related issues
Designated stroke centres - provides stroke care to patients within their facility and their catchment area
