Service Description:
|
Ensures quality legal services and information in identified areas of law to low income people such as:
- discuss the situation and give legal advice
- represent clients in courts and administrative tribunals
- take on the case if it is in the areas of law practiced by the clinic: Tenants' Rights, Ontario Works(Welfare), Ontario Disability Support Program, Canada Pension Plan , Disability, Provincial offenses and Consumer Issues
- will advise you how to seek help elsewhere
- educate the community about the law through publications and presentations
