Service Description:
|
Provides permanent homes for children and youth who cannot remain with birth families
- assists birth mother in making informed choices and offers support before and after birth
- conducts home studies on prospective adoptive families
- offers support to individuals waiting to adopt a child and after the child joins the family
- assists in locating non-identifying information with the Adoption Disclosure Register
- assists with searches to contact a birth relative and offers support if a reunion is requested
