Service Description: Provides programs and services to children and youth with physical disabilities to help them achieve greater independence, accessibility and integration such as:

  • financial assistance to help purchase essential mobility equipment
  • summer camp to give kids opportunity to be away from home and experience a wide range of fully accessible activities
  • special education programs, services and funding
  • scholarships for young people with disabilities attending post secondary education
  • parent resource information for parents of children with physical disabilities
  • awareness and public education
  • Incontinence Supplies Grant Program
  • Top Up program

Founded in 1922, Easter Seals Ontario is a registered Canadian charity that provides programs and services to children and youth with physical disabilities in Sault St. Marie and throughout the province. Programs include funding for mobility equipment, including wheelchairs, walkers and ramps, fully accessible summer camp, special education information resources and scholarships.
