Service Description: Provides support, information and assistance to those living with a brain injury and their families * services offered:
  • education and awareness to the community about the effects of ABI and strategies for prevention
  • participates with Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA) on provincial education and awareness campaign
  • offers peer support mentoring program to people living with a brain injury - connects persons with lived experience with an individual who is living with the effects of acquired brain injury and who requires support * available to survivors, their family members and or unpaid caregivers

  • survivor support group meeting: 2nd Tue of the month from 1pm-2:30pm at the Warming Centre, 480 Fisher St
  • no meetings in Jul and Aug
  • caregiver support group meeting - 2nd Fri of the month from 11am-12noon at the Warming Centre, 480 Fisher St
  • Fees: Dual Memberships available through OBIA / BIANBA
