Service Description: Supports for high risk older adults

Apartments with 24-hour lifeline emergency call response
  • assistance with the activities of daily living
  • toileting
  • washing and bathing
  • preventative skin care
  • transferring, positioning and turning
  • dressing and undressing
  • assistance with eating
  • medication reminders
  • exercise
  • meal preparation
  • bed making and laundry
  • light housekeeping

Fees: Set fee
Application: Call * no referral required * disabled adult 55 years and older, or adult aged 65 or older
Eligibility / Target Population: Older adults and adults with disabilities, who need physical, social, or emotional supports * must demonstrate a need for daily access to personal support and attendant services throughout a 24 hour period everyday

A not-for-profit charitable organization and senior’s residence * originated with a group of Finnish individuals whose goal was simple – build a home for seniors of Finnish and Estonian descent * immigrants often revert back to their native tongue as they age, the founders wanted to be able to provide their ancestors with a home-like setting rich in Finnish culture and traditions
