Service Description: Provides and advocates for a full range of community-based services for people with intellectual disabilities including accommodation, employment, respite, community access, planning and family supports

Supported independent living/innovative residential services:
  • provides assistance with medications, personal hygiene, banking, doctor appointments, cooking and meal supervision, grocery and personal shopping, social skills and transportation
  • promotes independence, quality of life, health and safety

Adult Group Home Living
  • offers accommodations at a variety of homes located throughout the district with supports provided by trained staff
  • equipped to cater to individuals needs, including medical and/or behavioral needs
  • supports may include personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, recreation and leisure activities

Day/drop in programs services include:
  • employment/volunteer job placement opportunities
  • life skills training
  • offers a variety of leisure/recreation activities
  • alternative communication assistance
  • community integration/exposure such as community events, guest speakers, fundraising

Adult respite services
  • provides temporary relief for family member/ guardians caring for individuals with developmental disabilities

Host Family Program
  • provide a safe and secure place to live in a family home setting
  • promote a high quality of life
  • support community involvement, social inclusion, individual choice, independence and rights

    Passport Program
  • individualized supports provided to individuals in receipt of Passport funding
