Service Description: Emergency financial help to low-income households facing disconnection of services * one-time grants available to qualified households

Application: Applicants must:
  • Reside in Ontario
  • Primary/secondary holder of an utility account with electricity or natural gas
  • Financial Need: must be behind on your bill and at risk of disconnection
  • Income: Total after tax income must fall within specific limits based on household size (see Ontario Energy Board website)
Eligibility / Target Population: Low income households requiring immediate need with an electricity, natural gas bill
