Service Description: The Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) is intended to meet the needs of people with disabilities and help them to become more independent * ODSP provides financial assistance to people with disabilities * amount of benefit depends on size of family, shelter costs, income, and assets

Application: People receiving Ontario Works benefits should apply at their local office * medical documentation and proof of income required
Eligibility / Target Population: Adults * 18 years and up * resident of Ontario * verified physical or mental disability that is expected to last a year or more * disability must make it difficult for applicant to care for him/herself, go into the community or to work
