Service Description: Offers a wide variety of counselling services and educational workshops including individual client-centered counselling, family and group therapy for:
  • anger management
  • self-esteem
  • substance use
  • parenting issues
  • phobias
  • grief and loss
  • anxiety disorders
  • couples/marital counselling
  • post-traumatic stress disorder
  • family violence
  • sexual abuse
  • depression
  • other mental health disorders
  • referrals to other agencies/services as needed

Application: Call or visit * health card and certificate of Indian status (if applicable) required
Eligibility / Target Population: Members of the seven First Nations of the North Shore Tribal Council: Atikameksheng Anishnawbek (Whitefish Lake) First Nation, Batchewana First Nation, Garden River First Nation, Mississayga First Nation, Serpent River First Nation, Sagamok Anishnawbek First Nation, and Thessalon First Nation or the urban First Nations, Métis, and Indigenous people residing in the city of Sault Ste Marie
