Service Description: Health centre focused on family and community health * health professionals assess and treat non-life-threatening injuries or illnesses * referrals to other local health services and personal development groups

Community Health Centre has inter-professional team providing a full range of primary care services to address the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of the client * services offered at main Centre and in rural access * the Community Health promotion programs are designed to improve overall health
  • primary care services including physical exams, testing, treatment of acute and chronic conditions
  • referrals to specialists
  • counselling
  • nutritional information and education
  • telemedicine consultations
  • health promotion programming
  • physical activity programs and falls prevention
  • presentations or groups on chronic diseases

Fees: Most medical services covered by OHIP * fees for certain programs may apply
