SUDBURY,ON – Health Sciences North/Horizon Santé-Nord (HSN) is seeking
talented, engaged members of the community to serve on its Board of Directors
and Standing Committees.
HSN is seeking two individuals to join the Board of Directors in September 2015 and
four community members to serve on the Finance and the Long Range Planning
Committees of the Board.
Directors are elected for three-year terms, while community members on standing committees serve two-year terms.
“HSN has developed a strategic plan that commits us to pursuing excellence in
evidence-based care, innovation, research and teaching, “says Mike McCann,
Chair of HSN’s Board of Directors. “We rely on a team of strong community-based
leaders that works hand-in-hand with hospital administration to ensure that
these goals are met and that HSN is accountable and transparent to the public
for its decisions.”
Applicants must complete and submit an Application Form indicating their areas of
interest, accompanied by a resumé and references. All applications will be
acknowledged.
